Where I was Saturday night

At the Portland Tea Party's Liberty Vigil on the Hawthorne Bridge. I was standing beside Faith, a grandmother with a baby in her snuggly and a two-year-old in a stroller, and a family of Native American Indians. The fire trucks crossing the Hawthorne gave us the biggest cheers. You could say I was there because I inherited freedom from Brits who fought for it for two thousand years. I was also there because the opposition to big government takeovers is not going away. It's going to get bigger and it is going to succeed. And even if it didn't, it would be worth taking a stand.
