Go fishing

"Britain has a long history of conservation of nature," writes David, adding to this post. "It is part of our nature to look to the future. Brits planted oaks for their future great-grandchildren to enjoy. John Muir, arguably the founder of the conservation movement in America, was originally a Brit."

Britain owned two-thirds of Europe's fishing area, and our largest renewable resource was sea fish. We managed it for hundreds of years, and it produced a magnificent, sustainable catch. Senselessl EU treaties gave British fishing stocks to the rest of Europe, which overfished and destroyed them.

We will not call it anything because we will not lose them. We will seize the initiative and reverse our reverses.
